When you date someone, you don’t only date this individual but their family as well. Since day one, Matt’s family has been nothing but welcoming. Their family is seemingly perfect and although they have their own issues, they really genuinely care for each other. It’s a breath of fresh air in comparison to my family who are all so different and judgmental of each other that we can’t be in the same room for more than ten minutes before we all pick up our phones and fade away.

This weekend was proof that not only did I find my soulmate but he comes from an equally perfect family. I tried to organize a dinner with my mom and her boyfriend and Matt’s family but my moms boyfriend got sick and wasn’t able to make it and then my mom really stretched her laryngitis and couldn’t make it either. I didn’t bother to invite my brother or sister because they’re disrespectful and frankly, embarrassing. So I spent my Saturday night with his family and had a perfect night. And when everything was falling apart and I got upset, Matt picked up the pieces and organized everything.

I just can’t really even make sense of all the feelings I have running around in my head but I do know that no matter how troubling my own family might get, it feels amazing to know that I have a loving, caring, genuine group of people that I can call family to rely on.

I love the full days I’ve been having. Nothing beats coming home exhausted for an actual reason rather than just the normal “life exhaustion” I’ve been experiencing as of late.

Summer is going to be a challenge however. Work half time, need to find another job, three classes and to find time for myself? Ill figure it out.

It really blows my mind how I personally know people trying to get jobs yet I work with someone who doesn’t do a damn thing at the job she does have. I work in a room with three other ladies, in which one of us gets pulled to cover another classroom every day. That’s 3 people for 9 autistic kids for 7 hours a day, five days a week. While this ratio may seem fine, it’s really unfair most times. We need four people to function well in this room. But it’s so awesome when one of the three sits on her fat ass all day and literally eats, yells, leaves and does nothing in the room. I am about to EXPLODE. Why the fuck do you have a job that pays $8.20 per hour at a job meant for students when you’re a grown ass woman not going to school? Why?

Grow the fuck up, stop being a bully and quit this job so someone who actually wants it can benefit from it and we can get someone who actually does something with themselves during the day.
